“I keep having sex dreams about a colleague. Every time I look at him I find myself blushing. I’m married. What should I do?”
One of our lovely TMC followers needs some advice. If you’ve ever had this experience, what advice can you share?
TMC + Me
TMC always aim to be a supportive and inclusive space, and we often receive messages asking for advice on all sort of things.
As much as we will always try our best to give advice we are only our little admin team and sometimes it may be things we do not know much about.
So therefore we wanted to create a way for you all to ask us (and all followers) for advice, and hopefully get the support you need.
It will always be anonymous and it can be on any subject. We are an open minded bunch and won’t judge anyone.
What our community has said about having sex dreams about a colleague:
@Catkintoys: Enjoy the dreams, work on creating the same spark with your husband (date night, role play etc.) and don’t worry about the colleague – he can’t see inside your mind!
Sarah: Love this idea! Who doesn’t fancy themselves as a bit of an agony aunt? And who hasn’t fantasised about someone they “shouldn’t”?! It’s human nature to be attracted to other people – the question is whether you want to act on it or not. Assuming not, is there anything about the dream sex you’re missing in your real life sex (do you want to feel desired? be seduced? make lots of noise? is Instagram going to start blocking my comments if I continue?) and, if so, how can you put that right? Otherwise, you can’t switch off your sex drive, so try to enjoy it 😘.
Kelly: Enjoy the dreams……. It’s just a dream
Martha: It’s crazy how dreams affect how we feel about someone! It happens to me alllll the time! Definitely just fantasy though and linked to list which always feels a bit naughty lol x
Em: Oh I totally ❤️ a bit of dream analysis! First of all, I’d say don’t stress, you don’t need to do anything – it’s just a dream! Secondly, I’d suggest delving into your waking life thoughts and feelings about the person in question; what do they represent to you? is there a quality you admire about them, or something in them that reminds you of yourself somehow? Are there any other strong symbols that stand out in the dreams that you could unpack, not just the person & actions, but the storyline & setting? Thirdly… just enjoy the fantasy if it feels fun! 🔥
Do you have any further advice for our mama? Please remember to keep the comments kind.
